Challenge
For the Society of Women Engineers Boston Section’s 75th anniversary celebration, the organization wanted to honor its history, leadership, and community in a way that felt meaningful, memorable, and true to its members.
The challenge was to bring the organization’s legacy to life during the event – not simply through speeches or printed materials, but through a personal storytelling experience that reflected both the professional impact and the human connections built through SWE.
Capture
Geminai captured a hologram of past president Ann Ganley, who reflected on how she first became involved with SWE, the professional and personal impact the organization has had on her life, and her experience serving as president.
In addition to Ann’s holographic story, Geminai created a humorous compilation reel that added warmth, personality, and energy to the celebration.
Experience
Displayed on Geminai’s portable Proto M2 unit, Ann’s hologram gave guests the opportunity to encounter SWE Boston’s history through the voice of someone who helped shape it.
The combination of personal reflection and lighthearted content created an engaging focal point during the celebration, helping set a joyful tone for the evening while honoring the organization’s legacy.
