Geminai recently welcomed Nibi the Beaver, the beloved wildlife ambassador from Newhouse Wildlife Rescue in Chelmsford, MA, into the studio to create what is believed to be the world’s first holographic beaver.
Rescued as an orphan and raised at the wildlife rehabilitation center, Nibi has captured national attention as an educational animal helping the public better understand the importance of beavers and wetland ecosystems.
Using Geminai’s holographic capture process, Nibi’s likeness was transformed into a life-like holographic experience, a really fun way to show how immersive technology can help share wildlife stories, support education, and connect communities with the natural world in new ways.
