A First Year Built on Holograms and Partnership

Our first full year in business marked a defining chapter for Geminai, as we trailblazed strategic content and AI-driven holographic experiences alongside extraordinary partners. It was a year shaped not by a single milestone, but by purposeful collaborations that expanded our vision, our reach, and our belief in what immersive storytelling and innovative technology can truly achieve.

Early Momentum: Education, History, and Community

We began the year hosting Scouts earning their Digital Technology and Engineering Merit Badges as well as members from the Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce to demonstrate how holograms can support business initiatives. We created a hologram of a uniformed 6th Middlesex Regiment Captain who announced shots fired in Lexington and the call to arms to Concord in recognition of the 250th anniversary of the start of the Revolutionary War. We then kicked off the first of eight onsite, interactive field trips with the inquisitive clients of Incompass Human Services. And we formalized our partnership with CodeBaby, exploring how emotionally intelligent digital humans and holographic presence could work together to create more accessible communication. That spirit of meaningful innovation carried into our participation in the Global Health Catalyst Summit at Harvard, where global health leaders reinforced a shared truth, we continue to see firsthand: technology only matters if it reaches people in ways they can feel, understand, and trust.

Expanding Presence: Women, Leadership, and Global Reach

That philosophy was on full display when our studio and holographic technology were featured at the AI‑Powered Women summit at MIT, where women leading across AI, healthcare, education, and business experienced first-hand how presence changes engagement. From there, our work took on a truly global dimension. Traveling to Ghana, Africa at the invitation of Breast Care International, we supported breast cancer awareness through holographic education delivery, proving that advanced technology can be both sophisticated and deeply impactful, even in low-resource settings. This resulted in coverage in Reuters and the BBC! Shortly after, our journey continued to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with Junior Achievement Worldwide, where we explored how immersive content can inspire young people, strengthen entrepreneurship and global leadership development, and scale impact across cultures.

Creative Partnerships and Memorable Activations

Back home, momentum continued to build. Our partnership with VizSense opened new doors at the intersection of data, creativity, and experiential storytelling, bringing measurable intelligence to influencer marketing. That collaboration came to life publicly with the Soul Dog Wines content launch at the Mandarin Oriental Boston Hotel, where holographic storytelling elevated a brand narrative into something unforgettable, emotional, and shareable (an AI-powered human speaking Shelby the dog!). And we capped things off with Santa visiting our showroom by live beam from the North Pole – a timely use of immersive human connection.

Commitment to Representation and Inclusion

We are proud that we succeeded in our commitment to representation – amplifying women, LGBTQ+ voices, and people of different races, cultures, and abilities – both in the stories we tell, who we align with, and in how we build our work.

A Foundational Partnership: Proto

Above all, this year would not have been possible without our primary partnership with Proto. Proto is far more than the inventor and provider of our cloud-based spacial computing/AI communications platform – the team at Proto across executive leadership, sales and support have been enthusiastic, consistent champions of our growth. (Shout out to the incomparable Molly Twistol!) Proto’s belief in our vision, their openness to experimentation, and their encouragement to think bigger have enabled Geminai to take meaningful risks, pursue global impact, and build with confidence. Every step forward this year carries Proto’s imprint.

Looking Ahead: Scaling Impact Through Human Connection

Looking ahead to 2026, we already have several client activations planned throughout the year spanning global health, hospitality, municipalities, museums, education, food & beverage, entertainment and sports, alongside ongoing initiatives with current clients and partners. AI will continue to play a meaningful role in how we scale, translate, personalize, and extend stories, always in service of human connection, not as a replacement for it. As our work evolves, our Massachusetts studio remains an open, collaborative space. We welcome clients, partners, and curious collaborators to visit, experience holograms firsthand, and brainstorm what’s possible when impactful storytelling, innovation, and creativity come together.
